As a photographer I have had the privilege of capturing countless weddings and elopements, but there is nothing quite like an intimate wedding in the stunning Sawtooth National Forest in Stanley, Idaho! The magical feeling of the mountains and forest create the perfect backdrop for those couples who are dreaming of a luxurious wedding that still feels small and intimate.
All About Robbie & Graye
Robbie and Graye met as kids at a Methodist church camp, dated for a while, and eventually went their separate ways to pursue different things. After marrying other people and not finding their forever love in their first spouses, they found their way back to one another and unified their families as one. It was such a happy day and their children were so emotional, just like all the guests. Robbie also gave gifts to Graye’s children emohazing his love for them and their mother. It was such a sweet detail to witness.
Sawtooth National Forest
The Sawtooth National Forest is absolutely beautiful, I swear my jaw was on the floor for most of Graye and Robbie’s wedding day. It creates the perfect backdrop to creating an intimate but luxurious wedding that these two had been dreaming of. Graye and Robbie were set on creating an intimate vibe to their National Park wedding and the vibes were spot on!! Small wedding ceremonies are always my favorite because of how in the moment my couples get to be through the entirety of the day. With a selective guest list of just your closest friends and families, couples are comfortable enough to express their love in an intimate setting surrounded by the support from their loved ones. Let’s not forget that your wedding day is truly about vowing your love to one another and no one else.
